In the field of technical education, the Diocese has made its early contributions by taking over Alagappa Polytechnic college, Thrissur and establishing a number of Technical Training Institutes.Jyothi Engineering College, Cheruthuruthy under Thrissur Educational Trust founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur, started functioning at Cheruthuruthy in the year 2002.
