PTR College of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2001 by Sasikala Memorial Educational Trust under the able guidance of our Chairman LION .Thiru R.Pandian M.A. The institute is ISO 9001-2008 certified and offers five undergraduate courses in IT, CSE, ECE, EEE and MECH ENGG and Three PG courses in M.E.Engineering design, M.E. Computer and Communication Engg., and M.E. Power Electronics and Drives. The Institute is strategically located near the kappalurindustrial estate and automobile hub and in a serene atmosphere.The college has very good infrastructure, well equipped labs comprising of all –in- one desktops to CNC milling and CNC lathe. Well qualified and dedicated faculty, take care of the students in their curricular and co-curricular activities.A full -fledged placement cell guides the students towards placements, prepares them for aptitude tests, group discussion and conducts mock interviews.
