Thiyagi D.Dharmakkan an eminent education and veteran freedom fighter, dynamic leader who dedicated himself for the welfare, of people, dreamt of 100 % illiteracy among the boys and specially girls in Kannirajapuram. They are the source of inspiration for establishing this institution for higher education in Kannirajapuram.To fulfill the dreams of our God Parents, B.Ed. College was opened on 10/08/2009. The Colleges located at kannirajapuram unfolding its grandeur over 6 acres of land, the college exhibits an attractive panorama conducive to studiesOur College has a profound motto. 'EMPOWRMENT THROUGH EDUCATION’Thiyagi Dharmakkan Amirtham college of education has been conferred Autonomy status by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. The autonomy status provides the college to fulfill the aspirations of the students in getting quality education and better placement.
