The Long cherished desire of Devanga Community people of Aruppukottai providing higher education to the economically weaker section of the people who live in and around Aruppukottai was fulfilled by the establishment of ‘Devanga Arts College’ in the year 1970.Our College started to function with Pre University Classes with 4 sections, having the strength of 320 students.The college is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. Gradually new courses were started. The following statement shows the chronological progress in promoting higher education.
