The TEAM Trust's services to society started when they founded Dhanaraj Baid Jain College of Arts & Science in 1972. Putting more sprit into their work the Founder Trustees of Team Trust, particularly Dr. C.L. Metha and Sri.M.Lalchand Munoth - the chairman of the Trust, who made a handsome donation of Rs. 10 lakhs, the trust established the Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Polytechnic in 1984, be fittingly named after Sri. Misrimal Navajee Munoth, father of Sri. M. Lalchand Munoth.
With the rich educational and administrative experience of the trustees and many donors, several philanthropists, well wishers and the Directorate of Technical Education, the polytechnic made quick progress. Another contribution of Rs.15 lakhs by Sri. M. Lalchand Munoth and the approval given by the AICTE, New Delhi, enabled the polytechnic to be upgraded into Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College, during the academic year 1994-1995.
