    Required Qualification and Experience:
    Minimum qualification is 55% marks or an equivalent grade, from a recognized Indian/foreign University, in a postgraduate or equivalent degree in Comparative Literature OR in English/Indian Literatures OR in an allied discipline, like Cultural Studies or Translation Studies. Candidates with NET, teaching experience, scholarly publications in reputed journals/volumes and Ph.D./M.Phil. degrees in any of the above mentioned subjects would be preferred.

    The University of Hyderabad also known as Hyderabad Central University is an Indian public university, largely devoted to postgraduate and doctoral studies. Founded in 1974, Prof. Gurbaksh Singh was its first Vice-Chancellor In 2012, the university was ranked seventh, ahead of the Indian Institute of Science, as published by India Today.With 46 departments and centres organised in 11 schools of study, the latest addition to the schools list is the School of Economics, inaugurated on 22 October 2012. The university has over 400 faculty and about 5000 students.
