Talwandi Sabo is a religous place located at a distance of 25 KM from Bathinda in the cotton belt of Punjab. Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji the Tenth Guru of Sikhs visited this town in 1704 and stayed here for about a year. He blessed this town as ‘Guru Ki Kashi’ a place of knowledge and learning. True to his words, this place has know become a big educational centre. The magnificent Gurudwara Sahib, known as “Takhat Damdama Sahib” is one of the five temporal seats of Sikh Religion.
