Ganesan, B.Sc., a great philanthropist and an entrepreneur, who has completed his B.Sc.,degree in St.Joseph’s college, Tiruchirapalli was the first among his community to start a business that dealt with electrical and plumbing items. When he moved from his native village near Thuraiyur to Trichy in 1970, his only aim was to achieve something great in business.He started M/s Ramesh Electricals in 1972 and as he wished he dominated in the field of agriculture by becoming the leading promoter in electrical pumps. Though he became a reputed personality in the business field he had a great passion towards teaching because he started his career as teacher. This passion made him start the Indra Ganesan Educational and Charitable Trust in 2004.His main thirst was to give value- based education to the downtrodden people. So the Trust aimed to propose the multi professional research-led institution, which will be internationally recognized leader in professional and career-oriented education, a-unique intersection between theory and practice, passion and reason.
