The Matrusri Education Society was registered in 1980 by a group of farsighted and distinguished engineer’s, Doctor’s, Accountant’s, Lawyers, Businessman’s and Administrator’s with a lofty vision and mission. During 1981 the society started Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College which is presently located in a sprawling campus at Nadergul and is imparting Technical Education in the fields of Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. Post Graduate Programs in Computer Aided Design and Drafting, Computer Science, Embedded Systems and VLSI design, Master of Computer Applications and Master of Business Administration. The College is one of the top ranking colleges and has the state of the art equipment in all departments and has well qualified and highly experienced faculty.The MVSR Engineering College which started in 1981 with fully established infrastructure at saidabad was shifted to Nadergul in Year 2000 with an idea of starting an Engineering College in the metro city. The Matrusri Education Society worked sincerely and started Matrusri Engineering College during 2011-2012, offering B.E courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. During the first year of admissions all the ‘A’ category seats (Convenor Quota) were filled and is functioning with all seriousness and enthusiasm.
