The Mohamed Sathak Trust, which is a charitable and educational organization, was established on 26 October 1973 at Madras, by the Philanthropic Mohamed Sathak Family of Kilakarai, Ramnad District, Tamil Nadu, with the sole purpose of helping deprived people from rural and financially challenged background to obtain quality education. From the day the first self-financing engineering college in the country was established by the Trust in 1984 at Kilakarai, the Trust has been contributing to provide quality education with academic excellence to meet the requirements of industries at national and international levels. The Trust administers 19 schools and colleges in Kilakarai, Ramnad and Chennai. The whole gamut of higher education from arts and science to physiotherapy and nursing to engineering to medical sciences is covered under the Trusts’ operation. In our Trust we believe that with malice towards none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, we strive on to finish the work we are in, to build up our nation’s needs.
