It was with the definite aim of establishing a Centre of Excellence in Applied Sciences and Arts, that HETC Educational Society started Hindustan College of Arts & Science in 1995. Hindustan College of Arts & Science offers seventeen Under Graduate and six Post Graduate courses and one M.Phil Programme.It is approved by the Government of Tamilnadu G.O. Ms. No. 592,dated 24/07/1995, and it is affiliated to the University of Madras to conduct job oriented degree courses.The College was awarded ISO 9001: 2008 certification in the academic year 2010-2011. It has well equipped laboratories for Electronics and Communication Science, Computer Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Entomology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Multimedia, Web Designing, Audiography, Television Production & Editing, Drawing & Graphic Design and Photography.It gives me immense satisfaction that at the end of another academic year I can very proudly say the Hindustan College of Arts & Science has been recognized as one of the foremost colleges under the prestigious Madras University with not one or two, but a formidable 33 university ranks.Our mission is to attract and engage a talent pool that will influence decisions of immediate and long-term relevance and with small and large consequences. We seek to develop graduates and life-long learners who will serve and lead.
